How Citrus fits your space
Pick your business type to see where Citrus works best, and how partners usually start.
Turn a utility into an amenity
Guests expect a shower, but it's rarely part of what they remember. Citrus replaces a forgettable fixture with a premium stainless centerpiece and a Vitamin C rinse guests can feel, which is a natural fit for premium rooms, suites and spa floors.
- Start small: a pilot in suites, a spa or a single floor for 60–90 days.
- Measure it: agree on success up front, such as guest mentions, review scores or upsell to premium rooms.
- Roll out on your schedule: most properties scale during a renovation or refresh cycle.
- Sustainability story: optional free filter takeback supports your green-program reporting.
A locker room members talk about
Showers are expected at luxury gyms and boutique studios. Citrus turns a high-traffic utility into an appreciated wellness amenity: a filtered, Vitamin C-infused rinse after a hard session, with less of chlorine's tight, dry feeling.
- Best for: boutique fitness, yoga, Pilates and barre studios, and premium gyms with member showers.
- Plan filters by use: filter life depends on total shower minutes, not member count. Use the calculator below.
- Add retail: members who love it can buy their own, and you earn on every sale.
Lock in the treatment, don't rinse it away
If your facility has dedicated areas for rinsing during or after treatments, Citrus is the perfect fit. After heat, cold and therapeutic products, your clients get a pure, balanced rinse rather than one with harsh chlorinated tap water.
- Best for: day spas, bathhouses, float centers, saunas and cold-plunge studios.
- Measured pH support: in-house testing showed an average 0.37-unit pH drop over the first 4,500 gallons.**
- Pairs with retail: let clients take the ritual home.
Protect the work you do in the chair
Chemicals in city tap water can leave a film on hair strands, contributing to brassiness, dryness and color fading. Recommending filtered water at home helps protect the color, treatments and skincare results your clients pay for.
- Best for: colorists, stylists, head spas, estheticians and dermatology practices.
- No showers needed: stock it at 50% off MSRP, or skip inventory and earn 30% commission on referred sales.
- Designed to display: minimalist packaging and stainless steel hardware look great on a shelf.
A high-margin hero for the low-tox shopper
Unlike bulky water filters meant to be hidden under the sink, Citrus is designed to be proudly shown. It's an organic, high-margin lifestyle product with recurring filter refills, so customers come back.
- Best for: clean-beauty shops, refilleries, wellness boutiques and concept stores.
- Margin: buy at $114.50, retail at $229. Filters cost $39.50 and retail at $79.
- Fits the zero-waste mission: filter media comes in cotton pouches with optional free takeback.
Small details, big impressions
At retreats, glamping sites and wellness getaways, every touchpoint is part of the experience. A beautiful filtered shower helps make an ordinary stay feel considered and restorative.
- Best for: wellness retreats, boutique wellness hotels, glamping and campgrounds with showers.
- Easy to stock: compact filter refills, with no bulky proprietary cartridges.
- Combine install and referrals: guests can buy their own through your link.
Your customers will love this upgrade
Water is the quiet foundation of every wellness ritual. A pure, filtered rinse is a luxury your customers feel the moment they step out of the shower.

Calm, hydrated skin
Chlorine can strip natural oils, leaving skin tight and dry. Our triple-media filtration reduces chlorine to help skin keep its natural moisture.

Strong, vibrant hair
A filtered rinse helps preserve hair texture, protects professional color investments and brings back natural shine.

A pure, low-tox sanctuary
Hot showers vaporize tap-water chemicals into the steam. Filtering the water first makes for a cleaner, calmer shower.
Questions operators ask us
We'd rather answer the hard questions up front. Here's what facilities teams ask most.
View the spec sheetAren't filter pouches more hassle than cartridges?
No, they're less. There's no proprietary plastic housing to stock, crack or throw away. Each refill is a compact cotton pouch of filter media that ships light and stores flat in any housekeeping closet. Open the head, swap the pouch, close it, and the shower is back in service.
Why replace showerheads that still work?
You don't have to replace them all. Most partners start with a pilot in the rooms or areas where the experience matters most (suites, spa showers, premium memberships), measure the guest response and expand during a planned refresh.
What does it cost to run?
Showerheads are $114.50 wholesale with the first filter included. Refills are $39.50. Filters are rated for 5,000–7,000 gallons and lab-tested to 5,000, so cost depends on how many shower minutes you run. Use the calculator below for a per-shower annual estimate.
Is it built for high traffic?
The body is heavy, solid 304 stainless steel with a 1.8 GPM flow and three spray settings, and it fits any standard 1/2" shower arm. Every unit carries a 1-year manufacturer's warranty. If your project needs specific plumbing certifications, ask us and we'll share exactly what we have.
What happens to used filters?
Our optional takeback program is free. Return spent media and we regenerate and recycle it, so contaminants stay out of the water cycle. It's a simple win for properties working toward sustainability standards.
Filter cost per shower, per year
Filter life is about total shower minutes, not headcount. Enter your numbers for a conservative estimate. It assumes 1.8 GPM and our 5,000-gallon tested rating.
Estimate only, at 50% partner pricing ($39.50 per filter). Actual life varies with water quality and use.
Running 1–3 showers? Partners can subscribe to refills at $35 per filter (50% off our $70 subscription price), delivered on a schedule so you never run late on a swap.
